Claudio Celentano

Born in the land of mermaids, land of light and perfumes, of music and colors, I have always thought that the beauty of my land should be narrated, diffused, shared.
While still a teenager, I enrolled in the "Laboratorio Cinema" in Rome and then at the "DocIT", a social documentary school in Naples.

With a reporter's curiosity and hungry gaze, I shot documentaries in Cuba, Africa and India, some of which aired on Rainews24. I ran up and down Europe filming rallies, and sailed around the world with MSC, the company for which I shot commercials and promos.

I traveled to people's hearts filming the memorable day of "Yes", giving the newlyweds the eternity of a unique emotion. Finally, the love for food, and for the culinary art, led me to make videos for the best restaurants in Italy, because a good dish, as well as a good film, is prepared with care and passion, simplicity and creativity.

Thus, speaking through images has become my profession, my language, my mission, my boundless passion.

Since 2010 I travel to Senegal with Energy for human rights making videos and reports on life in Africa and on the association's projects.

----
I was born in 1983, a molecular biologist and researcher, in the member association of the Distance Support Team (SAD). For work I study the role of small regulatory molecules, called microRNAs, in the pathophysiology of the nervous system and, in particular, of multiple sclerosis. In the association I have been responsible since 2006 for the project "Support a child and his village remotely",thanks to which we help hundreds of girls from Senegal, Gambia and India to go to school and be healthy, while in parallel we promote the development of their communities. What do these two areas of my life that seem so far apart have in common? The vocation. In both I can best express my thirst for good knowledge and my aspiration, for myself and for all humanity, to go beyond what seems established, predetermined, to overcome pain and suffering. Because, as someone very wise once said, "There are no ways to happiness, happiness is the way".

Sofia Costanza

----
I am a PhD student at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the Roma Tre University with a project on common goods and the economic crisis, in particular on urban common goods and the governance of urban resources in Rome.

Since 2008 I have been an active part of the association: I have dealt with the Malaria Stop Campaign with the volunteers of the villages in Senegal and currently I am in charge of the project of Keur Marietou's House of Women in Italy and Senegal.
I am interested in the history of economic thought because I believe it is important to look at reality from different perspectives and to try to understand the contexts and motivations that influence the theories and values underlying social and political systems..I also believe that the economic crisis, ecological and social that we are experiencing may be an opportunity to embark on new paths of search for meaning.
Failed economist, low-level capoeirist, compulsive writer and explorer in constant "action-research", I have a great passion and curiosity for humanity. I like to imagine new possibilities together and weave different paths, to put them in communication.
For the rest I try to give a coherent direction to my life.

Energy is undoubtedly an inspirational space, because it offers ideas for looking at your own change while trying to transform what is around us.
Diam rek!

“Traveling teaches disorientation, to always feel foreigners in life, even at home, but being foreigners among foreigners is perhaps the only way to be truly brothers. This is why people are the destination of the trip. " To try to reach this goal I decided to study to become a good "doctor, to attend the scout group of my country for 15 years, to learn how to become an active and aware citizen and to venture with Energy For Human Rights in the chaotic and wonderful world of International Cooperation. In association, I mainly deal with the project "Support a child and his village remotely", the relationship with our supporters and with our leaders in Senegal, Gambia and India. As for the rest of the activities, just ask me for a hand for anything.

Barbara Ballerio
