Let’s Not Forget India

Grazie a tutti per quanto state facendo in queste ore.

“In India as on date there are more than 1200 corona cases. In Tamilnadu 74 corona cases found. The Indian government has announced 21 days of lock down for the whole country which ends on 14th April. Social distancing is in force. An amount of Rs 1000 is assured to each family to meet the expenses on these 21 days. It is about 15 euro. This amount is not sufficient for 21 days to survive. Now the question of survival is asked everywhere. The government says the Corona cases are only because of foreign return persons and not because of spread by the society. The daily-wage labourers who constitute the major part of indian population are suffering a lot. Police beat the people who come out for buying food stuffs and grocery. More tha 25000 cases have been filed against the people who came out of houses in Tamilnadu alone. Nearly 3000 vehicles have been seized from the public for not following the rules. Government tries to stop virus spread. But it doesn’t care about food for the poor people. Government begs for donations from public for eradicating virus. We are now towards the next stage. Shops are open only until 2.30 pm everyday. In the mean time the prices of vegetables and other food commodities have gone up unimaginably. No income on one side. On the other prices go up. Indians don’t know about the situation in future. Indian economy is in the hands of few rich people. Because of life threatening situation people are silent. Schools and colleges are closed. Government has announced compulsory pass for all students until 9th standard. Other exams are also cancelled. Let us hope positively”.
